Coding is not a vogue. It's a great opportunity for all the students who wanna get into the technical world. You may have doubts that today's popular language, like PHP, python etc might not be used after 10 to 15 yrs. So why should we teach our kids coding?
Even though it's true, programming will always move forward and gets advanced. And you as parents need to know that programming is not just about learning a particular language but it has something beyond that too. It's always not about memorizing and remembering the syntax and applications. We just don't teach a particular language we teach concepts beyond that. Here are some reasons why coding is not just a trend or a vogue.
1. CODING PROMOTES CREATIVITY
Coding is medium for expressing creativity. Code is the paint, and the coding platform is the canvas. With a perfect coding toolset kids can produce incredible digital works of art!
we give kids the framework for how to build an app, and equip them with thousands of possibilities to make it their own.
2.CODING ENTITLES KIDS
Coding is about making new things, new things that makes your kids proud. Specifically when it's fun they learn it with more enthusiasm. We all know that apps are made digitally so when your kids design their own app it is considered as their own creation. They can share it to their friends and that gives them more self confidence.
Take this 12-year-old app developer. He started making apps that were just for fun. Now, he's using his coding skills to empower other kids to build their own apps, too! That's self confidence.!!
3.CODING IS THE LANGUAGE OF THIS CENTURY
Technology isn't going anywhere. And you may say: My kid is going to be a firefighter/artist/doctor/an engineer when they grow up. But just as kids are required to take chemistry or calculus in school, learning to code isn't about mastering a skill for any one profession. It's about understanding the basics of the evolving world around you.
4.CODING IS NOT ABOUT JUST LEARNING TO WRITE CODES
Coding actually allows kids to learn far more than just How To Actually Code. They also learn reading, typing, spelling, precision of language, and logical thinking.
As we have mentioned in our previous blogs, coding will improve kids' technical skills in school. If we forget a few exclamatory Mark's or commas in an essay, the essay still works overall. But, if kids forget any syntax at all in your code, it simply won't run.
Kids attention increases, and they study every detail about coding which makes them better proofreaders and benefiting their work in every other subject!
5. CODING IS AN UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE
Learning to code is similar to learning a new language. Coding allows kids to communicate with billions of people and have more exposure. Coding education isn't standardized in public schools yet, but there are plenty of tools that makes coding accessible for kids to learn at home.
6. KIDS GET REWARDED FOR THEIR HARDWORK
One of the perks of learning coding is that kids gets their rewards easily for their hard work. This engages them to do more amazing works and learn enthusiastically. This makes them produce bigger and better things.
7.CODING HAS GOT NO FINISHING LINE
Coding can be practiced for a lifetime. Technology is improving day by day so is the production of new applications and evolution of new learning skills. Till we are in the presence of technology, coding has not got an ending. The more we rely on technological needs the more we need access to coding.
